Supplemental Regulations for Arizona Border Region Solo events.

Prices

Pre-Registered On-Site
SCCA Member $25 $30
Non SCCA Member $35 $40
Time Only $10 $10
Time Only runs can only be had in addition to a regular competition entry. This applies to both SCCA and non SCCA members, and both pre-registered and on-site entries.

Our prices are now $30 on site for SCCA members. The SCCA now requires that all participants be SCCA members, so for an additional $10 fee, you get a temporary membership good for one event. If you like what you see, we recommend getting a full membership for about $75. It pays for itself if you attend more than 6 events during the year. We also offer a $5 discount for pre-registration (making it $25 for members). Additional heat runs after the first are called time only, and cost another $10. Please check the appropriate time only box on the Preregistration, and then look for your two registration forms at the event.

Site Information

Southwestern International Raceway (SIR) is the drag strip at Pima County Fairgrounds on the southeast end of Tucson. Take the Houghton Road exit, # 275, off I-10 and proceed south for 1.9 miles. Turn right on Dawn Rd and take the next right, 1/2 mile up, and go through the gates. Take the first right and follow the road into the parking lot.

Pinal Airpark (info), is on the North West side of Tucson just North of Marana. Pinal Airpark exit off I-10, Exit #232. Follow the road from the Interstate for several miles until you reach the guard post. Stop at the guard post, sign in, and get your pass. After leaving the guard post follow the road, when you reach the fork in the road go to the right. Continue down the road past the barracks and firing range. You will have to drive through the gravel past the firing range to get to the pit area. Please note that we only have room for 80 cars in the pits. All trailers and tow vehicles must be parked in the dirt. No cameras are allowed. Note that everyone MUST Register online before the event, so we can get a participation list to the site owners before our event. We will also need a list of spectators or pit crew that you are bringing to help out. There is NO onsite registration, and registration will close the Thursday before the event at 8am in order to get the list together. All vehicles besides tow vehicles must be parked at the entrance gravel area and then you can walk to the course.
